MINISTRIES

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members can be involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as helping in the kitchen to greeting new visitors or volunteering with community events.

Small Group Bible Studies
We have a small group Bible study that meets on Thursday’s at 6:30 pm in the church basement.  This is an informal time of studying various topics.  It is also a time that you can invite a friend to join you as we dig deeper into the Word of God.

Youth Ministry
Our youth group is open to anyone in grades 6-12 on Wednesday’s at 6:30 pm.  This is a time for our young people to gather and learn more about a real relationship with Jesus Christ.  All youth and children’s leaders have had background checks done and are under the authority of the Senior Pastor.  Meetings have been suspended for the summer.  Announcements will be made when they resume.

Children’s Ministry
Pre-school through 6th grade are invited to come for our children’s message during our regular worship service.  They will learn lessons from the Bible and receive activity/coloring sheets pertaining to the lesson.  Sunday School is not meeting at this time.  Announcements will be made when it resumes.  Children are welcome to our regular services.  The nursery is available with sound system.

Mission Outreach
Abundant Life Assembly of God is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We welcome the chance to have missionaries share in our services to stay connected to what they are doing in the place God has called them to and we actively support these missionaries with our money and with our prayers.

Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook for additional church communication.

 Prayer
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, those who have a prayer need have the opportunity to come forward to have our prayer team pray over them.  We believe in anointing with oil and laying on of hands and the healing power of Jesus and the active gifts of the Holy Spirit.
